If you want to have your orders shipped outside the Philippines, shipping fees may sometimes cost more than the items you are ordering. Here's why.
Third-party carriers set shipping fees
- Shipping costs are dependent on how far you are from the originating country, as well as various duties and customs taxes your country charges.
- Shipping is an entirely separate service provided by a company (e.g., DHL or Post Office) that is out of our control, and shipping costs are pass-on charges. We pass the fee on to you whatever the shipping carrier charges us to ship your package, with no additional markup/markdown whatsoever.
Shipping companies charge a minimum flat rate
Shipping carriers impose a minimum billable weight, so whether you are purchasing a 25-gram product or a 1-kilo shipment, the shipping cost will still be the same. This minimum weight charge is the reason why slower shipping methods (e.g., surface mail) can sometimes be more expensive than the faster ones.
Here is the minimum billable weight of each shipping method:
||Minimum Weight Charge||Allows Liquids?||Allows Glutathione?|
|DHL Express||1 kilo||Yes||Yes|
||1 kilo||No||Yes (powder only)|
|Air Mail||1 kilo||No||Yes (powder only)|
|Surface Mail||3 kilos||Yes||Yes|
How to save on shipping fees
If you find the shipping fees too high, here are some options you can consider. Either way, we know you'll love our product, and the results that it will bring to your skin will be worth more than what you paid!
- Adjust the items in your cart or order in bulk. Adjust the items in your cart to fit the allowed billable weight by taking out or adding in some products in the cart. Your total cart weight is available in your Cart Details.
- Ask a friend to carry them for you. If you have relatives or friends visiting the Philippines to just order the items for them as the shipping fee within any point in the Philippines is drastically cheaper, and they can just bring the items when they return.
