Before you start:
- Administering glutathione powder supplements intravenously should be done by a qualified healthcare professional. It is crucial to consult with a medical expert before attempting any form of intravenous treatment. You can look for one at your local online classifieds website (e.g., Craigslist, Facebook Marketplace).
- If you do not have access to a qualified healthcare practitioner, you may administer the product sublingually.
- If you have any history of allergy or if you are a first-time user, we advise you do a skin test first.
- Please refrain from using glutathione injectables if you are pregnant, breastfeeding, or have an existing heart or kidney condition.
What you need
You can order these items from our online store.
- Your glutathione powder and any included booster ampules good for one session.
- 10 mL syringe
Use 1 syringe per vial of glutathione powder. - Butterfly I.V. set for IV Push Method
Use a 23- or 25-gauge butterfly needle/catheter; you can buy at your local pharmacy if your package does not include one. - Macroset for IV Drip Method
- Cannula for IV Drip Method
- 5 mL sterile water for injection for IV Push Method
or 50-100 mL Plain Normal Saline Solution for IV Drip Method
If your pharmacy does not have this, you can use a Normal Saline Solution (NSS/PNSS) with 0.9% saline concentration.
Do not use sterile water for irrigation.
Sterile water is optional for Glutax products.
- Vitamin C injectable - optional but recommended
If you have no Vitamin C ampule, you may take a 500-1000mg Vitamin C (ascorbic acid) pill twice a day (morning and evening) for the entire course of your therapy.
How often should I administer glutathione IV?
For IV push: administer twice a week for whitening.
For IV drip: administer once a week for whitening.
Then, after achieving the desired result, administer once every two weeks for maintenance.
How to administer glutathione IV
Your box or product listing should show the method of administration: intramuscular (I.M.) or intravenous (I.V.). It is vital to note that the instructions below are general guidelines and may vary depending on the specific product and individual circumstances. It is essential to consult with a healthcare professional who can provide personalized instructions and monitor the infusion process to ensure safety and efficacy.
Via Intravenous Push:
- Drink plenty of water at least 1-2 hours before administering.
- Dilute the contents of one vial of glutathione powder with 5-10 mL sterile water.
- If the product includes additional ampules of nutrient boosters (e.g., Vitamin C), mix its contents with the diluted glutathione.
- Connect the 10-mL syringe to the butterfly catheter and prime the tubing. Remove any air bubbles in the IV tubing.
- Sanitize the venipuncture size and administer the medication via slow IV push over a period of 15 to 20 minutes.
Via Intravenous Infusion Drip:
- Drink plenty of water at least 1-2 hours before administering.
- Mix contents of one vial of glutathione powder vial and any included ampule of nutrient boosters with 100 mL of plain Normal Saline Solution.
- Infuse for a period of 45-60 minutes.
How to administer intramuscularly
For IM administration, please use the same protocol as IV, substituting with gluteal (buttocks) intramuscular injection. However, we rarely recommend the intramuscular administration of glutathione because the area may swell up and become tender.
Instead of 5mL water, you can do 2cc of glutathione and 2cc sterile water. A licensed healthcare practitioner should perform glutathione injections. They will use the proper ratio of saline water to glutathione.
How to administer sublingually
- Prepare the solution the same way as for the injection above.
- Withdraw 1⁄4 of the solution and squirt it under the tongue. Keep for 5 minutes then swallow. Repeat morning and evening for two days in a row (one vial is good for 2 days).
- Repeat the process after a one-day break, until you have reached your desired skin tone.
- Refrigerate unused solution between doses.
Aftercare
- Any sort of injection can cause bruising. If you're prone to bruising, use a cold pack for 10 to 20 minutes to reduce swelling after receiving a glutathione shot.
- Once you remove the needle, you can likely get back to your daily activities, with no recovery time or medication.
- If you experience a slight headache or any pain, over-the-counter pain medications (such as acetaminophen or paracetamol) should help.

How much powder do you use?
Hello, for Aqua Skin variants, you can use 1-2 vials per session.
Hello! As for the sublingually, the procedure must be every two days then rest one day? Is it safe? Instead of injectable, can it be really taken by mouth? I hope you will enlighten me on this matter. Thank you.
